Portfolio: Blaine Ellis: Where Light Dwells

by Richard Whittaker, Apr 2, 2006

Blaine Ellis writes, “In the tradition of sacred space, light has been a symbol of the transcendent, a metaphor for the unknowable. These images become a meditation; an autograph in light, which expresses man’s attempts at self-definition through matter, form and luminosity.”

Ellis lives in San Francisco and also spends a lot of time in New Mexico. More of his work can be seen at www.photoeye.com
