Our newsletter #53 features a collection of stories we put together with a smile. The first three pieces are by David Feldman who contacted me after reading my article* in Parabola's Spring 2017 issue. He sent me his story (“A Trip Out West”) and I was immediately charmed. It was included in works & conversations #33.
David, I soon learned, has a led a life of adventure, not the National Geographic kind, but one more accessible - the adventures that can blossom when one listens, and can respond affirmatively, to the promptings life offers us in unexpected moments, small and large. Feldman's stories are fine examples of letting life show the way; they're great reads, and who knows? They might be contagious.
The fourth piece - which includes two stories - seems a nice companion to the first three. In both, life surprises its players in delightful ways. And there some additional stories via links for avid readers out there. Apparently there are a few still around.

Oh, and if you’re reading this in the U.S. or Canada and would like to see an issue of our print magazine, contact me at< rwhit@jps.net> . I'd be happy to send one your way. Enjoy! - R. Whittaker
